About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Total Rewards to lead our global total rewards team and drive our total rewards philosophy, including compensation, payroll, reward & recognition, and benefits. As a trusted partner and leader within the People organization, you will develop long-term total rewards strategies and dive deep into the details as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Championing Our Human and High-Performing Culture
You will champion our human and high-performing culture through our total rewards philosophy, strategies, and programs.
Leading Global Total RewardsYou will lead global total rewards at Clio, including global compensation and benefits, executive compensation, job architecture, compensation cycle systems and processes, promotion processes, long-term incentive programs, equity planning, incentive and recognition programs, and global payroll.
Staying Ahead of Market TrendsYou will stay ahead of market trends and provide expertise and thought leadership to design, implement, manage, and evolve total rewards programs that are equitable, scalable, performance-driven, attract and retain top talent, and are aligned with Clio's culture and strategic business priorities.
Optimizing Job ArchitectureYou will continually optimize our job architecture framework for scale and effectiveness in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Leading and Inspiring a TeamYou will lead and inspire a team composed of functional experts in compensation, benefits, and payroll, providing clarity, vision, and coaching for individuals and the team.
Developing and Executing Complex StrategiesYou will lead the development and execution of complex cross-functional strategies to address opportunities and issues in the areas of total rewards, including presenting findings and recommendations in a compelling way at an executive level and monitoring total rewards programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Ensuring a Fair and Equitable WorkplaceYou will ensure a fair and equitable workplace by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and market trends impacting compensation and benefits, proactively amending policies and programs to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, data privacy, and financial and SOX controls.
Partnering with Other TeamsYou will partner closely with other members of the People Leadership Team, our Finance team, and executive team members to deliver on our commitment for competitive and impactful total rewards that attract and retain top talent.
Measuring Impact and EffectivenessYou will create the infrastructure for measuring impact and effectiveness of our total rewards programs.
Partnering as a Senior LeaderYou will partner as a senior leader in the broader People team, ensuring efforts are coordinated across all People and delivering a seamless employee experience.
Maintaining RelationshipsYou will maintain and facilitate relationships between senior leadership and external consultants as needed.
Managing Conflicting PrioritiesYou will manage conflicting priorities to deliver highest value initiatives that support key business objectives while respecting organizational and team capacity.
Ensuring ComplianceYou will ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Director, Total Rewards with:
- 8+ years of relevant global total rewards experience
with proficiency in global benefits, cash compensation, long-term incentive programs, including equity management.
High-growth SaaS company experienceNAMER, EMEA & APAC experience preferred.
Experience leading a global total rewards teamideally in a rapidly scaling global business, attracting and retaining talent in a competitive landscape.
Demonstrated experience shaping total rewards strategiesworking with and influencing executive stakeholders and engaging in preparation of proposals to the Board of Directors (Compensation Committee).
Excellent verbal and written communication skillswith the ability to package and present complex analyses and recommendations clearly.
Data-driven leaderwith a strong ability to analyze and turn data into insights and action plans aligned with company direction.
People-centric leadercommitted to building a high-performing team, inclusive leadership, a high level of partnership and collaboration across the People team and with key stakeholders across the business, continual growth and development of key skills, capabilities, and knowledge across the team.
Experience with tools such as Radford, Pave, Workday Advanced Compensation, and ADPhighly desired.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related disciplineor equivalent experience.
