The Director of Product Operations, Merchandising is a key role in our team, responsible for providing operational leadership in the execution of the merchandising strategy. As a member of our Product Operations leadership team, you'll enable the evolving structure of the Global and Regional Merchandising teams by establishing and driving efficient operations through calendars, process, and resource management.

This role involves leading, mentoring, and motivating the Merchandising Operations team to execute the merchandising vision, providing expectations, goals, and deliverables through owning the Merchandising deliverables throughout the Go To Market (GTM) calendar and ongoing business calendar.

You'll establish, own, and drive the continuous improvement of Merchandising processes throughout the GTM calendar, including process management and adherence. This will involve improving, creating, and researching new tools and technology to enhance line planning, assortment planning, and planning to space in both global and regional intersections.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the Merchandising team, championing a culture of continuous challenge, improvement, and growth.

Other key tasks will include managing the organizational capacity for newness each season, setting guardrails, and optimizing workload across each function to enable successful change. You'll build and maintain change management processes that support the foundational structure of the Global and Regional Merchandising teams and partner with team leads to ensure they have adequate resources to fulfill seasonal requirements.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to identify every opportunity to lead and mentor team members, solicit feedback from cross-functional leadership to support the overall business in identifying areas of process improvement, business calendar, and team structure requirements.

Additionally, you'll monitor and report on team performance metrics regularly to leadership and partner with the Product Operations leaders to ensure their fingers are on the pulse of the culture, helping to champion any learning opportunities for the development and growth of the team.

This position requires a strong understanding of the product lifecycle process and experience bringing a product line to life. You should be perceptive, emotionally intelligent, and able to partner cross-functionally, demonstrating a strong track record of team building.

We're looking for someone who can drive alignment across diverse cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business, set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives.

This role offers a salary range of CAD$146,000 - CAD$182,000 per year, plus a competitive bonus program and benefits package.
