Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Chrysta ABA Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Strategies: Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Classroom Management and Organization: Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, manage student behavior, and maintain accurate records.
  • Student Growth and Development: Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet the needs of students.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid teaching certificate with special education endorsements.
  • Special Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of special needs, individualized education plans, and curriculum development.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. The position requires frequent standing, stooping, bending, and lifting, as well as exposure to biological hazards.
