Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Chrysta ABA Academy Society.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs, providing support and accommodations to ensure their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special needs.
  • Provide one-on-one support and accommodations to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and document student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the educational process.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based strategies for supporting students with special needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
