Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Chrysta ABA Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to students with special needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, providing instruction and accommodations, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide instruction and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Valid teaching certificate with special education endorsements
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) certification preferred
  • Gifted and Talented (GT) certification preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in the subject area(s) assigned
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality education and support to students with special needs. The position requires frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as the ability to lift and position students with physical disabilities.
