About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to lead the delivery of complex and challenging projects on our work program. You will work closely with our volunteer board to develop standard-setting solutions to emerging public sector issues, including leading and managing technical team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain public sector financial and sustainability reporting standards
  • Inspire adoption and implementation of IPSAS and international public sector sustainability reporting standards
  • Engage with stakeholders, including governments, regulators, standard setters, and professional accountancy organizations
  • Lead complex projects, managing and collaborating with others to meet project goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • Technical expertise in accounting, sustainability reporting, and public financial management
  • Project management expertise, including experience leading complex projects
  • Strong leadership, knowledge, and expertise in standard-setting and public sector accounting
  • Excellent technical and project management skills, with strong computer literacy
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of another language desirable
