Job Title: Director, Market Intelligence

About the Role:

Omnitrans is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Market Intelligence to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to drive business development initiatives and brand management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the market landscape.
  • Formulate business plans using various sales arguments and tactics in collaboration with the Senior Vice-President of Business Development & Client Experience.
  • Research and analyze key markets to acquire market intelligence and identify geographic opportunities and competitor information.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business development initiatives via multiple channels and lead the action plans that result in new meetings and/or new business.
  • Schedule and attend conventions, conferences, and tradeshows to identify attendees, prepare engaging displays and collateral, and provide post-event reports and analysis.
  • Develop and update detailed competitor database.
  • Obtain, maintain, analyze, and communicate market-based information for the purpose of promoting intelligent decision making.
  • Manage RFPs and quarterly business review presentations.
  • Assist in the design and execution of service innovations.
  • Plan and participate in annual sales meeting.
  • Assume brand manager functions across all media while developing plans that increase our awareness in existing and new markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or commerce.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic business & market development.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a creative flair.
  • Comfortable in front of a crowd and/or a prospective client.
  • Innovative thinker with a strong understanding and appreciation for differentiation.
  • A proven storyteller with impeccable writing skills and the ability to create content.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-oriented and committed to excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify root causes and find win/win solutions.
  • Perfectly Bilingual (English and French; written & spoken).
  • Well-organized with an emphasis on prioritization.
