Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to develop proper understanding of market landscape. Formulate business plans using various sales arguments and tactics in collaboration with the Senior Vice-President of Business Development & Client Experience that can be effectively used to drive new business. Measure results and modify accordingly.
  • Research and spend time in key markets with sales and customer service team members as you acquire market intelligence pertaining to geographic opportunities and competitor information.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business development initiatives via multiple channels and lead the action plans that result in new meetings and/or new business while measuring the results/ROI.
  • Schedule and attend conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, identifying attendees, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.
  • Develop and update detailed competitor database.
  • Obtain, maintain, analyze, and communicate market-based information for the purpose of promoting intelligent decision making.
  • Manage RFPs and quarterly business review presentations.
  • Assist in the design and execution of service innovations.
  • Plan and participate in annual sales meeting.
  • Assume brand manager functions across all media while developing plans that increase our awareness in existing and new markets.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management or commerce
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic business & market development.
  • Analytical and detail oriented with a creative flair
  • Comfortable in front of a crowd and/or a prospective client
  • Innovative thinker with a strong understanding and appreciation for differentiation
  • A proven storyteller with impeccable writing skills and the ability to create content

  • Perfectly Bilingual (English and French; written & spoken)
