Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Record Specialist to join our team at ABB Management Consulting Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Repetitive tasks

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • Accounting software
  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Windows

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
