About the Role

Crown Floors Decor is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of pre-qualification submissions and tender documents.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, including preparation of cash flow and financing requirements.
  • Communication: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Analysis: Analyze tenders and recommend awards, as well as monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors, as well as create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
