Crown Floors Decor is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
- Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- 2 years of experience in construction estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
