Construction Estimator

Crown Floors Decor is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate Preparation: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects.
- Pre-qualification Submissions: Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients.
- Blueprint Analysis: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Computer Software: Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
- Estimate Reports: Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, and provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.
- Contract Management: Project cash flow and financing requirements, and monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
- Supply and Contractor Management: Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
