Form Carpenter

Avenue Building Corporation is seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team. As a Form Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Construction: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Installation: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Training and Supervision: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
- Estimation and Maintenance: Estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
