Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc. in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement HR Strategies

Design and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall business objectives.

Bridge Management and Employee Relations

Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues that may arise.

Manage Recruitment and Selection

Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure that the company attracts and hires top talent.

Develop and Monitor HR Systems

Develop and monitor overall HR systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

Nurture a Positive Working Environment

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being.

Oversee Performance Reviews

Develop and implement a performance review system that drives and recognizes high performance.

Maintain Payroll and Benefits

Ensure that payroll, compensation plans, and benefits programs are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Assess Training Needs

Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Ensure Legal Compliance

Ensure that all HR practices and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Proven HR Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a similar industry.

Strong Leadership Skills

Ability to lead and manage HR initiatives and projects.

Knowledge of HR Systems

Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including Workday and ADP.

Excellent Communication Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.

Canadian Labor Law Knowledge

Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations, including pay equity and immigration processes.
