About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Sublime Concrete and Construction Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formwork and Concrete Placement
    • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
    • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Compaction and Finishing
    • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve a smooth finish.
    • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Fixtures and Finishing Touches
    • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
    • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Surface Repair and Restoration
    • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
    • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage and ensure a long-lasting finish.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires you to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights. You must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
