Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Gill Concrete Pumping Ltd.
Job Summary:The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces as needed
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
The Concrete Finisher will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Requirements:- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
