Project Coordinator Specialist

Lynk, a leading electrical contractor in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Project Coordinator Specialist to join their team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Electrical Manager and be responsible for assisting with day-to-day administration tasks of the division. This includes procuring goods and services such as conduit, wire, fixtures, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for industrial and commercial projects.
In this role, you will also prepare and manage purchase orders electronically, review and approve invoices for payment, expedite and coordinate delivery of goods to sites, maintain inventory, and review supplier bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of work.
You will provide project support by obtaining and submitting shop drawings, tracking shop drawing progress, coordinating and organizing assembly of operation and maintenance manuals, assisting in compiling project schedules, commissioning and closeout documentation, maintaining material Safety Data Sheet and WHMIS information, and assisting with material take-offs and project change orders.
The Cahill Group offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
To be successful in this role, you will require great communication skills with the ability to work closely and effectively with other departments, team members, suppliers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
You will be a detail-oriented and self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
