Lynk is seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our Electrical Division, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration tasks, including procurement, inventory management, and project coordination.

Lynk is a leading electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and controls & instrumentation contractor, part of the Cahill Group. Our experienced team efficiently manages commercial, municipal, industrial, and renewable energy projects in and around Cape Breton.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure goods and services for industrial and commercial projects
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders electronically
  • Review and approve invoices for payment
  • Expedite and coordinate delivery of goods to sites
  • Inventory management
  • Review supplier bid proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Provide project support, including obtaining and submitting shop drawings, coordinating assembly of operation and maintenance manuals, and assisting with project schedules and commissioning documentation

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a recognized engineering technology program or 10+ years' experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with other departments, team members, suppliers, and general and subcontractors
  • Detail-oriented and self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and ability to utilize AutoCad, Bluebeam, and Accubid
