Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our team of engineers in the development of innovative medical devices. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet product requirements and regulatory standards
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure mechanical designs are optimized for manufacturability and performance
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles to reduce production costs and improve efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the medical device industry
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of engineers
  • Strong technical skills in CAD design, FEA, and CFD analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with ISO-13485 and medical device regulations
  • Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping
  • Experience with design for manufacturability and design for assembly
