At YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply and Empty Bed Pans: Ensure patients' hygiene needs are met by supplying and emptying bed pans as required.
  • Take Patients' Vital Signs: Accurately take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse to monitor their health.
  • Serve Meal Trays and Feed Patients: Provide patients with meal trays and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Weigh, Lift, Turn, and Position Patients: Safely move and position patients to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Deliver Messages, Reports, Requisitions, and Specimens: Efficiently transport messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
  • Maintain Patients' Rooms: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and well-maintained by making beds and performing other necessary tasks.
  • Maintain Inventory of Supplies: Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Bathe, Dress, and Groom Patients: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming as required.
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients between care facilities and within the facility.
  • Answer Call Signals: Respond promptly to patients' call signals to determine their needs.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid in emergency situations.Requirements
    • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Possess a Health Care Aide Certificate.
    • Security and Safety: Meet the requirements for a criminal record check, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and adult abuse registry check.
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and perform physically demanding tasks.
