We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financing Specialist to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Equipment Financing and Commercial Client Relationship Teams, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and expertise in credit advice and financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your superior client discovery and business analysis skills to meet client expectations for credit requests and completion of annual reviews.
- Provide quality business analysis and credit advice through presentation options that clearly articulate advantages and benefits to the client.
- Demonstrate RBC's capability to provide creative financial solutions in a timely manner and deliver credit solutions that meet or exceed client needs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration by coaching, mentoring, and assisting colleagues to meet the needs of all clients.
- Exercise due diligence in recommending credit applications, working in collaboration with Risk Management, especially in supporting risk processes and guidelines.
- Proven track record in financial, risk, and credit analysis/structuring in support of exceptional client relationship management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lending in a financial institution.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills and client centricity.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
- Experience with emerging resources, communications, and technology (i.e., online data resources, web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications).
- Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
- Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
