Peer Operations Coordinator, Overdose Response Program Specialist

Job Summary:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Peer Operations Coordinator to join the Overdose Emergency Response team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and coordinate projects and initiatives related to the Overdose Emergency Response and Regional Addictions Program.
- Develop and implement work plans to support program goals and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with people who use substances as peer experts and advisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related health discipline.
- Minimum three years of experience in program development and implementation or project management.
- Knowledge of Public Health is an asset.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with peer inclusion and engagement, harm reduction, and Indigenous cultural safety and cultural humility.
- Ability to plan, implement, and problem solve independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software programs.
