Manga Hotel Group, a leading Canadian hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Leader to join our dynamic team.

With a portfolio of 31 hotels across Canada and the United States, we offer a unique blend of traditional hospitality and modern amenities. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success by developing and implementing HR strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can lead our human resources function, foster a positive work environment, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. If you have a passion for HR and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of candidates.
  • Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using our HRIS system.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with employees at all levels, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing labor laws and regulations, providing expert advice to management and employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in human resources, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations in both the US and Canada.
  • CHRP or CPHR certification an asset.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
