The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of the Indonesian market and a proven track record of building successful business relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Indonesian-based teams exploring the Berachain ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including venture capital funds, family offices, prop shops, wallets, exchanges, infrastructure providers, corporate institutions, projects, and other relevant entities
  • Identify unique opportunities for Berachain to capitalize on the Indonesia market dynamics, such as joint ventures, new user acquisition funnels, and synergies between the chain's natural infrastructure and potential DApps
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and prioritize product features and requirements in accordance with DApp needs, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and strategy
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the blockchain market and competition, using this knowledge to inform product decisions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, finance, or venture capital, preferably in the blockchain or financial technology industry, with a particular focus on DeFi
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, particularly the EVM and Cosmos ecosystems
  • Thorough knowledge of the current DeFi, NFT-fi, GameFi, etc. landscapes in the on-chain ecosystem
  • Robust interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience structuring complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders in an authentic and responsible manner
  • Experience building and scaling sales/BD/partnerships-oriented teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals
