Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs, as well as overseeing the Lean process improvement program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and health exposures in the workplace
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigate incidents and near-misses
- Develop and implement training programs to promote safety consciousness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce waste
- Monitor and report on EHS metrics and performance indicators
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, occupational health and safety)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining EHS programs
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
