Job Description

Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the implementation and transformation of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for HR. As the HR Lead, you will play a critical role in streamlining HR operations and implementing best practices to optimize the HR system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the implementation of the HR functionality of the new ERP system.
  • Streamline HR operations and implement best practices to optimize the HR system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the ERP system.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term technology plans to deliver the department's business goals and objectives.
  • Develop HR business cases for new technology solutions.
  • Provide ongoing process and system support and guidance to the HR department and system users post-implementation.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in a Human Resources, Information Technology Management, Computer Science or Business Program or related combination of education & experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience with translating HR business requirements into project requirements preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing HR applications and enabling technology.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Change management expertise with a track record of successfully driving organizational change initiatives, preferably in large, unionized organizations.
  • Previous leadership roles are preferred.
  • Project management, release management, process design, configuration, and testing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
