About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Process all payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
  • Respond to guest requests, promote hotel services, and provide information on local attractions.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus one-year front desk/guest service experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, with other languages an asset.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require frequent standing, remaining stationary for extended periods, and carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems.
