Service Greeter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Greeter to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Service Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Introduce customers to the appropriate service representative, facilitating a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person, demonstrating a high level of product knowledge.
  • Follow-up with customers after their visit to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Obtain basic demographic information about each customer and record it using the established method.
  • Update and enter guests into the DMT System (Traffic Management System), maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare weekly reports for managers for their weekly sales meeting, providing valuable insights.
  • Prepare monthly Traffic Report for individual sales representatives, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Hand out brochures and other information about vehicles to customers, promoting our products and services.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the guest area and replenish brochure and refreshment area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Cover the switchboard when the receptionist is away, providing seamless support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Must have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with a passion for providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, with a high level of product knowledge.
  • Professional appearance and friendly disposition, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment, with a results-focused approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience working in a dealership setting a significant asset.
  • Experience operating a multi-line telephone system, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain filing systems and database, with a strong attention to detail.
