Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at LaSalle Agri Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and preparing and posting notices and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
    • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the role.
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
    • Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for the organization.
    • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing gaps.
    • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
    • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • HR Administration
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and issues.
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance skills and knowledge.
    Requirements
    • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
    • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
    • Language
    • Fluency in English.
    • Work Environment
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
