Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Days Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including managing room reservations and cancellations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Provide customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Experience in a front desk or guest services role is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
