Job Title: Child Care Worker Assistant

At Alberta LTD., we are seeking a highly motivated and caring Child Care Worker Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-12 years.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
