Job Title: Child Care Worker Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Child Care Worker Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Own transportation

Work Setting:
