Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Indian Head Bakery.
Job Summary:The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and package food items, including heating and finishing simple food items.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Stocking and Inventory: Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth service and efficient operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
This is a temporary position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
