Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Indian Head Bakery. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods according to our high standards.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Stocking and Inventory: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Rural area.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
