Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Indian Head Bakery. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food to customers
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
