Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #0242. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Accurately process prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless operation of the pharmacy department.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
