About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #0242. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Prescription Processing: Ensure that prescription information is accurate and up-to-date, and that prescriptions are filled correctly and efficiently.
  • Client Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products, and ensure that stock is ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping, to support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our pharmacists, technicians, and other staff members to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and to lift up to 25 pounds.
