Job Title: Pharmacy Aide

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Aide to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #0242.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Aide will assist pharmacists with various tasks, including maintaining inventory, preparing medications, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and medications
  • Prepare and package medications for clients
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as entering client information into databases and billing third-party insurers
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Order and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
