We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Aide to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #0242.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Aide will assist pharmacists in maintaining accurate prescription records, preparing medications for clients, and performing general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate information on prescriptions
  • Enter client information in databases
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks
  • Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Perform general clerical duties
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
