Compensation and Benefits
RBC offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $90,000 per year, plus commission-based earnings potential. This means you can earn up to $150,000 or more annually, depending on your performance.
In addition to a competitive salary, RBC provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings plans and life insurance.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Advisor to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities. As an Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, providing personalized investment advice, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners
- Provide personalized investment advice and create customized portfolios to meet clients' unique needs
- Leverage RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to deliver exceptional client service
- Foster long-term relationships with clients through trust, expertise, and excellent communication skills
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and a proven track record of success in high-value sales and business development
- Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent certification
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals
- A passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management

Location and Hours
This role is based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and requires a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to work from home and manage your schedule to meet the needs of your clients.
