Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a Business Systems Analyst – API/Web Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, API/web development, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide estimates for incoming projects, analyzing business requirements and ensuring accurate translation through all SDLC phases.
  2. Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with stakeholders to extract requirements and turn them into use cases, user stories, and other deliverables.
  3. Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and alignment of functional and non-functional requirements.
  4. Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing information and cooperating with team members.
  5. Demonstrate strong personal values and a commitment to our mission and customers.
Candidate Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably from FI/banking.
  2. 7+ years' experience with web applications and end-to-end UI flow.
  3. 5+ years' experience with API services and Postman.
  4. 7+ years' experience within an Agile environment.
  5. 5+ years' experience with JIRA / Confluence.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. Certified Scrum Master, PMP.
  2. Mobile banking experience.
  3. Experience working as a team lead, project manager, and/or architect.
Soft Skills Required
  1. Good communication skills.
  2. Able to relay technical terms easily to stakeholders.
Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field. Agile CSM and PMI/PMP are assets.
