Job Title: Business System Analyst

About the Role:

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing technical IT applications and systems solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical IT applications and systems solutions
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to deliver successful IT projects
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Facilitate communications on process changes and enhancements
  • Contribute to the development of software/system solutions

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst
  • Strong experience in Genesys Cloud and Call Center Technology
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Safe methodologies
  • Strong technical knowledge and integration experience of Web Services, APIs, API Framework, and SOA
  • Experience in user interface designs/wireframes using current standard design practices

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to understand and represent the needs in a software development environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective organization and communication
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions and gathering requirements
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to accomplish successful delivery of IT projects
  • Design new software/system solutions by analyzing requirements and writing specifications
  • Knowledge of application architecture systems, networks, security, and enterprise databases
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Facilitate communications on process changes, enhancements, and modifications
  • Contribute and actively collaborate with the team to ensure project goals are accomplished
  • Strong consultative and advisory skills
