Job Title: Director, IT Asset Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, IT Asset Management to join our Global Technology Services Management and Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for governing the global IT asset management process and leading a team of hardware and software asset management professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the AVP of IT Asset and Configuration Management to develop and implement IT asset management strategies and processes.
  • Lead a team of IT asset management professionals to ensure accurate and timely discovery, inventory, and management of IT assets.
  • Develop and maintain IT asset management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure IT asset management processes are integrated with other business processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT asset management team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of IT asset management services.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT asset management, with a strong background in hardware and software asset management.
  • IT Asset Manager certification (CHAMP) and/or (CITAM) preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of software licensing, contracts, and audit management.
  • Experience working with major software vendors, resellers, or distributors.
  • Experience using IT asset management tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, USU, ILMT, or other industry tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create and effectively communicate IT asset management strategies and plans.
