About the Position

As a key member of the development team, the Senior Development Officer will contribute to the growth and success of Queen's University's fundraising efforts. The incumbent will work closely with the Executive Director of Development to develop and implement strategies that secure major gifts and advance the university's mission.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and community leaders. Key responsibilities include developing and executing fundraising plans, cultivating new leads, and stewarding existing relationships.

This position requires the incumbent to be proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also be required to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
