Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Merchandise Event Lead to join our team at Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG). As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing merchandise operations within our main store, including during TD Place events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner, provide product knowledge, and support customers in locating merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Restock merchandise stores, manage inventory, and maintain merchandise kiosks/stores in a presentable fashion.
  • Order Fulfillment: Fulfill online orders for delivery and ensure timely processing.
  • Event Support: Enforce event rules and relevant health and safety regulations, manage crowds, and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the retail operations team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Professional Presentation: Maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate high levels of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of retail/customer service experience, with a strong background in inventory management and customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability: Available to work weekends, nights, and public holidays as required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingualism is an asset.
