The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Real Estate Markets Senior Associate Director, you will play a critical role in supporting Directors in the Bank's GTR Real Estate Markets-Project Financing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and underwriting complex credit with the use of the Bank's Risk Assessment Framework/RAF, Financial Analysis and Credit Tools/Newton and Commercial Credit Request (CCR).
  • Partnering with Directors, Real Estate Markets to understand credit needs, changing circumstances and risk profile through meaningful client contact as required.
  • Performing daily administration of the Group's lending portfolio; performing annual credit reviews of the existing portfolio; liaising both internally and externally with various stakeholders in the credit process.
  • Actively participating in other team initiatives (industry research reports / ad hoc portfolio strategy requests / portfolio reporting management).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Associate Director or market equivalent, in residential real estate project financing.
  • Strong knowledge on Real Estate syndication, credit structure, and pricing.
  • Strong technical, analytical, credit underwriting, and portfolio management skills.
  • Client-centric experience with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Mature views on the real estate market knowledge with a well-thought-out point of view.
  • Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel).
  • A motivated proactive thinker with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach.
