Our organization is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Care Specialist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, BC.

The successful candidate will work with the most seriously ill or injured children and youth from across British Columbia, providing exceptional care and support. As an Inpatient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing therapeutic relationships with patients/clients/families and providing support following established care plans.

This role requires effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to organize work and prioritize workload. You will also have the opportunity to participate in team discussions and training sessions, attending meetings to provide/receive information and contribute to improvements in client care and the efficient operation of the area.

We offer competitive compensation packages, including an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. As a strong asset for consideration, we are looking for our successful candidate to have knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples and familiarity with addressing Indigenous-specific anti-racism and Indigenous Cultural Safety and foundational documents.
