Facilities Manager Lead

Sparx Us Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities and ensure that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment to maintain optimal facility conditions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including payment for specialized cleaning jobs, and assist cleaners in performing duties as required.
- Establish work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and meet operational demands.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in facilities management, preferably with a background in supervision and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Judgment and reliability in managing multiple tasks and priorities, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment:
This role requires working on site, with no option for remote work. You must be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including wet/damp, odourous, dusty, and dirty conditions. The work setting may involve office buildings, commercial facilities, hotels, motels, resorts, and residential locations.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
