Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Management Lead to oversee the management of equipment and facilities at Almag Aluminum. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and performance of operating equipment and services, leading and coaching the maintenance team, and managing the overall maintenance program.

Responsibilities

The Operations Management Lead will be responsible for:

* Ensuring the readiness and performance of operating equipment and services in support of our 24/7 operations
* Leading and coaching the maintenance team, consisting of electricians, Millwrights, and Technicians, consistent with our values
* Managing the performance of the individuals and the maintenance team as a whole
* Attracting, hiring, and retaining maintenance resources to ensure the correct balance of skills and capabilities
* Planning and scheduling complex repair plans, including the balancing of workload across the maintenance team and coordination with operations and production scheduling
* Monitoring equipment reliability, identifying trends, and mitigation plans
* Managing and ensuring compliance with our preventative maintenance program
* Ensuring equipment and service compliance with relevant regulatory standards
* Managing relationships with contractors and service providers, including scope definition and performance
* Effective communication of equipment and team performance inside and outside the maintenance team
* Managing Maintenance inventory for accuracy, total value, and health

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

* A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, administration, or facility management, or equivalent experience
* Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification is an asset
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
* Minimum 4 years' experience with a CMMS system

Technical Skills

The successful candidate will have working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including Hydraulics and PLC's, effective communication and people management skills, outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, familiarity with drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics, root cause analysis, and detail understanding of Reliability and Maintenance Management Principles.

Benefits
