Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead as a Regional Director of Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of maintenance operations for multiple retail store locations within a designated region (ON).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with the company's objectives, goals, and industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of maintenance managers for the assigned region across multiple retail store locations.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facility maintenance, including electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, roofing, parking lots, facades/structural, and landscaping.
  • Implement and standardize maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance.
  • Manage the maintenance budget for the region, monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within the retail or grocery industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of effectively leading teams.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
